Queenscliff is a beautiful and historic seaport town about an hour and a half’s drive from Melbourne. (NOT Sydney!) There is an excellent Marine Discovery Centre located there. See this link:
Many students study Marine Biology at the universities mentioned in the link below. They all have teaching and research laboratories in Queenscliff.
