Wow – The Great Barrier Reef just won a Worldwide tourism award a few days ago – you are in for a treat.
There is SO many options … where to start.
There is snorkelling out the reef, glass bottom boats for the non-swimmers and diving. Obviously the snorkelling is easy and no classes needed. Dive classes, there is a lot to choose from
If you walk around town here there is SO many options and specials daily – so I would suggest wait until you get here and grab the best deal.
Here are some sites -
Dive courses available – (if you are not experianced)
Adventures out on the reef:
About Green Island here -
You can snorkel out on the reef, take a glass bottom boat, do the scoobdo – or seawalker – all great experiences.
If you want cheap accommodation go to (right in town and has an awesome bar and nightclub area also)
or browse
Oh and the weather is always nice and warm in Cairns. No winter here.
